East Mountain Optomechanical, Inc. was incorporated in New Mexico in October 1998, and is a spin-off of Optomec Design Company. East Mountain Optomechanical's founder, Thomas A. Swann, also founded Optomec design Company.
East Mountain Optomechanical provides optical and mechanical design and manufacturing services for the photonics industry. Types of hardware include laser systems, optical instruments, machine vision, and fiber optics. The company can provide custom systems and components as well as small quantity OEM production.
Thomas A. Swann, founder and President, has over 30 years experience as an opto-mechanical engineer and 15 years experience in operating a small high-technology company in the New Mexico business environment. Mr. Swann holds a BSME from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from the University of New Mexico.
